Let me preface this by saying - I truly was excited by all these top reviews, but sometimes numbers are just that...numbers. I've gotten five stars, five cherries, five divas, so why am I quoting this reviewer who only gave me 'Four' ANGELS? Well, because despite the lower rating, I was excited because she 'got' it ... my voice, my style, the effort I put into choosing each word, and developing each character.
This was a very difficult book to write, not only because of the logistics of Mira and three men participating in sex, but primarily because the men had all given up their emotions years before. It's hard to develop character without emotion, and I wanted, no, needed to make the reader care about each one eventually. The pages are chock full of sex, but this reviewer also read beyond all that, noted my effort, and I thank her for it.
I'd like to thank all the reviewers for their kind words. I'm not sure you realize how much your words are taken to heart by the authors. I seriously consider all your comments and hope with each book I write, I'm addressing any of your concerns.

ReplyDeleteAmazing how you just love some reviews more than others. Although 5's are nice, knowing why rated your story high is worth getting 4's. That's why I praise all my reviews that take the time to tell me what they got and even what they didn't.

ReplyDeleteI have always fantasized about Lora Leigh's Breeds. I could never decide between a white bengal prime or a black panther prime. Maybe I don't have to decide maybe I could have both of them awaiting my every wish or command. I can just see us all in that hot tub!!!!!!!!!!
The Lion, The Leopard and The Wolf looks delicious. I'm just gonna go check it out. It looks like it just might make that TBR mountain of mine which I have a wps file for, it's up to 1183 entries, I just might have to learn to mountain climb sooner than expected. LOL
