Carly knows Jake’s darkest secrets and, at one time, desired him anyway. Now she won’t settle. She wants it all. Jake’s hard and furious, Trey’s slow and tender.
Ten years ago, Jake took everything Carly offered, any way he wanted, then abandoned her for the rodeo, danger and the open road. When he decides he still wants the one woman who accepted his rough sexual needs, he won’t settle for less. He’ll do what he must to convince her he’ll be enough. If she wants Trey, Jake will share her, but only for now.

Carly looked dazed when she looked up at Jake, and Trey looked pleased with himself.
Damn him.
Jake walked down the hall to toss his stuff in the room Carly told him was his, and then he returned, furious at Trey, disgusted with himself, and desperate for this woman.
“You want him?” he demanded and dragged her roughly against his chest. “Be careful how you answer because this is what you get with me.” His hold on her was tight and forceful, leaving no doubt what he meant. “I’ve never been gentle, and I’m not a placid man.”
He stared Trey down and waited for her answer. Jake held his breath without realizing it until she nodded. The disappointment gutted him. When he exhaled, a low moan escaped.
As he turned away, he thought he heard her murmur, “I want him, Jake, but I need you.”
Had he misunderstood? He stopped and turned back. Taking her by the shoulders, he pushed her in the direction of his room. “We need a minute.”
“No, Jake,” she said, the sound of her voice getting all deep and throaty as they entered the room. “We’ll need more than a minute. Can Trey come, too?”
He had heard her right. “No! Absolutely not—”
Carly touched her fingers to his lips, interrupting him, and whispered, “Wait. Listen.”
“Go on, talk.”
“In my present state, I think I might wear one cowboy out.” She gave him a cock-eyed grin. It made him suspect she really didn’t think he’d need help.
“You’d be wrong.” He almost laughed, then lightly cuffed her under the chin. “I don’t wear out so easily.”
“I know.” She flashed him a wide-eyed smile, and her expression stopped him from making the wrong decision.
“I’ve been alone for two years,” she admitted, explaining her needs. “I’m an artist. I sculpt, carve, mold, and paint. Nudes mostly. Lovers.”
She ran a hand over Jake’s shoulders, down his chest. She fondled his nipples through his shirt before moving lower. “I’ve been without inspiration. Without a model. Without sex. I need you. Both of you. The fast and furious, and the soft and tender.”
“Oh, so you just want to use us for our bodies?” Part of him wanted to rejoice. She needs me.
Part of him wanted to rebel because she wanted Trey too.
“No strings, just artistic inspiration? I think we can handle that.” Secretly relieved she wanted him at all, Jake blew out a breath, thinking about Trey. “And sharing will make life easier on us. Trey tends to sulk.”
Trey must have been eavesdropping outside the room until he heard what Jake said, then he rounded the door and sandwiched Carly between him and Jake so fast Jake didn’t have time to object.
Carly started to laugh, but Jake just kissed her quiet, staking his claim with his mouth. He wanted to leave her with the impression of being conquered by a warrior who took what he wanted from the vanquished. His kiss plundered her as he drove his tongue between her lips and tangled his tongue with hers. She smelled fresh and flowery, light like a spring day. Her scent calmed his desperation, and her taste satisfied him as nothing ever had.
While Trey pressed into her from behind, sliding his hands around to her breasts, Jake cupped her mound and slid his fingers between her thighs.
Too many clothes.
