I'm going to be attending a conference next week, and I'm going to be one of thousands who are insecure dealing with the succesful and self confident. Is there a better recipe for anxiety?
I have a new book (the third in the series) coming out during the convention, but all I have to do is look at my pre-order sales, and I panic. Months and months of sweating over the details brings me to this moment. Will it be as satisfying for the readers as it was for me? I hope so. It won't cost as much as a Starbucks Mocha Frapchino which you can drink in less time than you can read the title. For now it's available for presale.

ReplyDeleteThat's a good point, since I'll be working and wearing my editor hat. I'll be taking pitches at RT, so I'll be on the other side of the table trying to keep the insecure ones from leaping off the cliff. LOL
